A Lego Life
I’ll be the first to admit it… I was a Lego kid.
The kind whose parents probably thought about investing in steel-toe slippers because stepping on bricks was a daily sport.
I loved Legos for two reasons. One, I could build things my little sister couldn’t, which made me feel like a tiny architectural genius. And two, it was the first place my imagination could run without instructions. Just a pile of pieces and a “what if.”
I’ve always been wired that way. I can’t help but think about different ways something could be done, redesigned, flipped upside down, or rebuilt entirely.
Legos turned into drawing. Drawing into painting.
Painting into Photoshop. Photoshop into a passion for Art Direction.
It’s been a colorful, slightly chaotic evolution. But I’m still just building. The tools have changed but the mindset hasn’t.
I’m still that kid on the floor, surrounded by pieces, trying to make something that didn’t exist five minutes ago in my crazy Lego Life.
I’ve always found it easier to tell my story through visuals than words, so click the video to learn more. →
